My World is a reality show on SABC1 that focuses on celebrities’ rise to fame. It goes into depth as it starts from their roots and reveals how and where they grew up, and who their parents and childhood friends are.

Previous episodes have featured the likes of Bonang Matheba, a live presenter on SABC1, model and a legit ambassador. In My World we see that even Bonang Matheba (who seems to be the South African it girl) went through a lot of struggle before she became the famous face she is today. Zizo Beda, former Miss SA Teen, also made an appearance in the show. Viewers got the opportunity to see how this down to earth rural girl made it to be amongst the prettiest in the country.
