Reportedly, Madiba is receiving and responding well to the treatment at the 1 Military Hospital in Pretoria for his lung infection. Presidential Spokesperson, Mac Maharaj stated that many tests has taken place and time needs to be allowed, he added that the presidency will keep the public informed.

Madiba celebrated his 94th Birthday Celebration this year and with that the support of the world. However, respective reporters have noted that Madiba has experienced previous hospitalisation ranging from tuberculosis to prostate cancer in 2001. After being admitted for four days in 1 Military Hospital on Tuesday, Madiba’s wife, Graca Machel said that its painful to see Madiba’s health deteriorate and her husbands sparkle and spirit to fade.
