‘My name is Max and I take photos. Everything else is merely a distraction’

Everybody meet Max Mogale- he is a 25 year old Cape Town based photographer and he’s a quest to grace the world with photography that mirrors the guerrilla like ‘glint in his eye’.

Max Mogale’s world revolves around taking pictures-it’s that simple. Renowned for documenting the Cape Town street scene, Max’s photographic skills have seen him quickly rise through the ranks of the city’s social documentary crowd. A mix of colour and movement with a little street edge keeps Max’s work fresh and constantly evolving.

Max is also one of the PowerPlay Griffin Heroes, which he has the chance to exhibit his latest works and host a workshop based on own style and experience. Naturally, he will also be doing what he does best, shooting photos of real people.

‘My mission is simple: to learn, to teach, to inspire and invite you into my world, take a seat, have a drink and enjoy’
