DJ / Aspiring Producer / Community Radio Presenter / Freelance Writer / Freelancing Photographer
Tebogo, who refers to himself as “Bouks’, has worked as a DJ, promoter, freelance writer, photographer and radio presenter. He began as a DJ, something he did for 10 years (7 of them in Cape Town) which enabled him to explore various avenues in the music industry. He got himself a podcast and built an online following.
He started taking pictures at events he hosted or played at throughout Cape Town before going on to record live mixes. This helped Tebogo gain exposure and recognition through his work. The highlight of his career was when he was offered an opportunity to freelance at an online magazine.
Bringing together all of his skills, he relocated back to Johannesburg and submitted his demo and CV to Westside FM where he’s still working as a presenter, content producer, DJ and website contributor. He enjoys networking and aims to inspire young people to push their passions, as he knows first hand there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
