Never in my wildest dreams have I ever thought that I would get such a huge opportunity to not only showcase my work but to also be a part of such an amazing organisation.

Being a remote contributor I’ve had to juggle my time between studying and working, which is not always easy but it’s worth it because I’ve met some amazing people and learned a lot in the short time I’ve been here, my mind has been opened to new possibilities and ideals that has lead me to believe that my experience here at Live will be a life changing one. Every time I find myself in the company of these amazing people I’m humbled by their dedication to their craft and the skill that each and every one of my teammates and mentors possess, I feel as though the atmosphere with which I’m surrounded by is awe inspiring.

I’ve always taken pride in being surrounded by some of the best minds of our generation and here at ‘Live’ I’m surrounded by the best, I’m proud to boast that I’m a part of this great adventure. I feel as though our generation as youth have the greatest potential to succeed and it’s because of the platforms that we have today such as ‘Live’ that gives us the opportunity to strive to our full potential. Walking into the “office” everyone is smiling and jovial which sets a great mood and increase’s work productivity and I guess if we all keep having fun and remember the passion we have for trying to change our society and inspiring others while still making a name for ourselves and meeting deadlines, we’ll enjoy even the most troubled of times.

I believe that ‘Live’ is more than just a youth magazine, I believe that it’s a movement that will one day give the youth and maybe even the older generation the power to stand for what they believe in. We all come from different backgrounds and cultures, it makes for an interesting scope on life because as an individual we might look at things in a certain way but here at ‘Live’ everyone is open minded and that means that any idea given gets taken into consideration and that no one is wrong or right in their beliefs. I feel and believe that because of ‘Live’ the stories of the silenced were heard, that the message of the oppressed was told and it is because of ‘Live’ that it will continue to be so.

To whoever may be reading this, keep in mind that the youth of today, the youth and mentors at ‘Live’ will not remain idle in the fight for social freedom, that even now the movement has long begun.
