Delazy is giving dancers, singers, VJ/DJ’s and musicians across the country an opportunity to tour the African continent with her for the next six months. “Who knows? We might even go international” says Toya of her national search. The auditions will be held in locations in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The auditions were initially open to Cape Town artists, but due to popular demand the BET nominated pop-singer decided to open up this opportunity to Johannesburg hopefuls as well.

The Delazy Crew initiative aims to promote and develop local talent in the performing arts industry. “It’s important to identify and build the great talent we have here at home.” says Toya. She further stresses that she did not want the artists to use their connections. “Everyone should have a fair chance.” Her panel judges include Anthony Morgan, former Coca-Cola Pop Stars judge and Delazy Entertainment management member. Also included are Capello and James Bassing – South African Music Awards (SAMA) artistic directors.

“I am investing in this project so I can grow and learn”, says Toya.
