A few days ago, a PopUp shop in London called We Like Shopping has switched up the way their customers shop little-known labels. They’ve matched up a little black book of the best fashion and design stores with mapping technology into a neat App. Sometimes scouting for that original piece got a whole lot simpler-scroll products, compile shopping lists and see exactly where to find them from your iPhone.  Matching the capabilities of online shopping with the authentic experience of boutique visits, the makers of this App, hope to give a leg-up to independent stores and pull shoppers away from High Street.

The App consists of  over 30 cult destinations features. Wandering the streets will no longer be necessary.

Unfortunately, down in Mzansi we have yet to catch up with the Lets-create-an-App trend but hopefully we’ll catch up to the rest of the world and create an App of all our local boutiques.
