For the 8th year South African National Parks would be opening up its parks during South Africans National Park Week, with fee open access to all South Africans. Yes ALL SOUTH AFRICANS get to visit South African National Parks for FREE. How cool is that!

The 2013 annual South African National Park Week is scheduled from 9-13 September2013 at Mokala National Park in the Northern Cape.

The Objective of the South African National Park Week is to cultivate a sense of understanding and pride in South Africa of their nature, cultural and historical heritage which is the basis for the establishment theme “know your National Park”.
