The Google initiative Africa Connected is running a competition!
Africa Connected in collaboration with Google aims to highlight the ways in which Africans are using the internet to make a positive social and economic impact.
They want inspired and inspiring young people who have an interesting story to tell about how the internet is changing lives in Africa. Africa Connected is looking for amazing stories of inspiration that are fuelled by the internet.
This can be across a number of categories including education, arts/entertainment/sport, NGOs, Tech, and SMEs. So, if you know of someone who learned how to create an email account to upload a CV to get a job and then went on to teach 100 other people in their community to do the same, Africa Connected is looking for you.
They will be filming the top 20 stories and giving away $5000 dollars to 5 winners! All you need to do is complete one quick and easy form to enter.
Competitions closes on the 31st of October.
