The joy and unity that was electrifying the Capetown stadium almost brought back memories of the 2010 World Cup we recently hosted.
As a photographer I expected to photograph sadness and somber mood that will perfectly defy the loss of the father of the nation Nelson Mandela. It almost became like the passing of Nelson Mandela was a last teaching to remind the world about what he believed in unity and love.
We asked Capetonians how they felt about Mandela and the future, and this is what they had to say.
