#LiveVIPZA went to the DA’s march for #realjobs on Wednesday 12th February 2014. Though the DA’s procession was largely peaceful, the ANC’s own illegally assembled “marchers” met the DA’s contingent halfway to it’s Beyers Naude Square destination with violence, prompting the police to call of the march and turn back the DA’s members. After the ANC’s members then followed the DA’s procession back to their base with bricks, stones and petrol bombs we ask: Are we a politically intolerant nation? Does our political intolerance threaten our 20 year old democracy?
