Michael Alexander Dlamini and Yehudi Nyiko Mbhalati are two young boys from the city of Johannseburg who own a clothing brand called Eleclass – a mixture of elegance and class. These two guys, who are also stylists, started this clothing label just seven months ago and have already created a high demand for their label. 4Elementsmedia has also endorsed Eleclass and has plans to take it to higher peaks. Eleclass also went to dress model and designer for #HalfWolf Brett Rogers on his birthday recently.

They have styled a few celebrities like Sundowns football star Teko Modise and radio personality Mulo from Yfm, just to name a few. They have added a female designer to their team, Nomsisi, and will be soon launching the women’s line too.

We decided to bring on board a girl because of the demand we have for women’s clothing and women who want to be styled by us,” stated Michael.

Within a short space of time these guys already have a high demand for their clothing. They don’t really have a store where they sell their pieces, but you can order direct from the guys. The designs are hand-made from scratch and are delivered straight to the customer’s door step.

We’d get so many requests for our services that we sometimes have to drop a few clients. We a small team and the response is sometimes overwhelming but we try deliver,” said Michael.

They are about to launch a new line soon, including a brand called Yehudi Designs that will drop in July. The boys also mentioned, “With Eleclass we are trying to bring elegance and class to the people. A lot of the designs you’d see on the red carpet or on the runway you can’t really wear on a day-to-day basis. We are just trying to make elegant clothing accessible too.”

Speaking of day-to-day clothing, the boys took some time out to show us how they dress up on a regular. Their look might be called “urban revival” and they’re sure to turn heads in the streets of Joburg.
