Youth, music and entertainment channels MTV and MTV Base are partnering with Cadbury 5Star, the latest chocolate to launch from the brand, to stage the new season of MTV DJ Battle.

MTV DJ Battle is taking place at Carfax, Newtown this Saturday 27 August. The show celebrates the art of DJing by testing the skills of SA’s hottest DJs. The MTV team, captained by DJ Vigilante with DJ Switch and Fistaz Mixwell will go against the MTV Base team lead by Heavy K with Ph and ZanD in a series of deck-to-deck battles as they strive to out-mix, out-play and out-party each other. Wild card challenges will also be thrown into the mix and the audience will decide who wins.

The event will be MC’d by YFM’s Ayanda MVP and ‘Wololo’ dance sensation Babes Wodumo will make a guest appearance. Tickets are available on Computicket with a starting price of R100.
