In April, we went to the Free State to hold a discussion on youth opportunities in the province. Young people gathered in the Community Centre in Thabong, a small township in Welkom, to address their issues to government officials such as the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), Thabong Municipality representatives and the Department of Arts and Culture.
After the event, we spoke to some of the young people who attended the event to ask them what they thought of the discussion, and this is what they had to say.
