Themed Black and Gold, a fresh citrus smell offset by wood notes with a touch of lavender lingered in the air as you walked in the lavish Churchill Bar, right in the heart of Melorose Arch. Tall male models dressed in black bespoke suits stood at the door to welcome guests with a smile and a sample of the cologne.
The star studded red carpet was the only thing that competed with the launches’ theme, with celebrities who’s talents where worth their weight in gold flowed in hour after hour, some of them didn’t get the memo as they showed up dressed in their own colours.
My photographer chose to stay on the red carpet so he can catch all the action, we decided that I walk in and see more of this upscale function. The event ran so smoothly, with no glitches at all, I guess that’s just how 4Elements rolls, they ensure that everything is on point and there is nothing that will have you feeling like “Nah they shouldn’t have done that, or I should’ve have come here.”
Anyway, as I walked in I’m offered a drink from the Johnnie Walker Blue table that was set up, “Hi sir, would you like a glass of our finest whiskey?”, it’s a pity I don’t drink so I had to turn it down with a smile on some, “No thank you, I don’t drink.”
Moving along, the offerings didn’t end there, a waiter approached me and offered me a drink and finger snacks which had some odd veggies with beef, “I’ll have the meat snacks and an Appletiser please ma’am.” Phew, I haven’t even been inside for 10 minutes and already Azzaro Pour Homme and 4Elements have made sure that their guest is well taken care of. As the night progressed, I saw some of 4Elements good friends, stars like, Chiano Sky who came through with “partner” Ross Jack, Zuraida Jardine, Tamara Dey, LeeAnne, Lunga Shabalala, and Da LES are just a few of the stars who attended this event.
People were served with their ordered refreshments and food, while we anticipated the speaker from Azzaro Pour Homme. She took to the stage and gave a decent detailed speech about the fragrance and their new ambassador, Vampire Diaries famed, Ian Somerhalder.
After all the formal stuff, we got down and jammed to the sounds of rock band Shadow Club who absolutely did an amazing job at entertaining the crowd. Their stage presence, sound and delivery was just on point! While people chatted away and enjoyed the sounds of Shadow Club, Azzaro Pour Homme gifted all the men in attendance with goodie bags, also the ladies too, surely for their partners.
Great music, good people, good food, fabulous venue. Good vibes all around. S/O to Azzaro and 4Elements Media, the gig was indeed a success.
