In the entertainment news this week Kaya FM Dj Kuli Roberts and The Link host Lerato Kganyago took their dirty laundry to twitter. Word on the street is that Kuli called Lerato, “a random black” on V entertainment. Lerato shot back tweeted that the DJ was an, “old two faced raisin”. As is always the case with twars, Lerato was expressing her anger on her wall while Kuli just responded to fans who kept begging her to apologize. Entertaining as it was, it was unnecessary for two grown women to be involved in such childishness.
Speaking of television stars, South Africa is getting its very own soapy awards. They are called the RSA’s, short for the Royalty Soapy awards. These awards are the brainchild of Generations actress Winnie Modise and will be held at the ICC in Durban in November this year. I really don’t think it’s necessary to have an awards show dedicated to soapies alone when we have less than 10 of them. Besides, how will the RSA’s be different from the South African Film and Television Awards?

This new Legit ambassador is following in the footsteps of Soccer Zone presenter Minnie Dlamini, Top Billing presenter Bonang Matheba and Selimathunzi presenter Zizo Beda. The range is now available in all Legit stores around the country.

On a sad note, Iman Cosmetics will not be renewing Boitumelo Thulo’s endorsement contract which expired at the end of April. Could it be the result of some negative reports about her in the media as well as her over-saturation at industry events? Iman cosmetics is however, saying that it wishes her well and that there is no bad blood between both parties.
