They graced our television screens for over a decade as child stars, entertaining us from morning till afternoon. They became faces of TV, all South Africa and yet they remained humble. Hulisani Ravele better known as CC and Selae Thobokgale are now grown-ups and they are doing great things in the media, marketing and film industries. Here is more about the famous child-stars.

HULISANI ”CC” RAVELE
PROJECT MANAGER AND TV PRESENTER
Growing up she was the girl everyone envied because of her famous job as a presenter. This allowed her to interview stars and travel the country. Yet, she stayed humble. Hulisani Ravele better known as CC graced our TV screens as YO-TV presenter for 12 years. This intelligent-beauty from Venda is currently a project manager at Praekelt-a digital agency in Johannesburg and presenter on Vodacom Millionaires which airs on SABC 1. As well, Ravele is a voice-over artist.
She says growing up on TV was such an amazing experience as she travelled a lot and met phenomenal people. “I grew up on TV, it’s my home. The power of the platform and talent I have been blessed with has allowed me to go to places I have never been and meet people with phenomenal stories”. Her inspiration comes from people who are satisfied with the work that she is doing.

She is currently dating her co-star Sipho ”Psyfo” Ngwenya, who is a musician, producer and actor.
SELAE THOBOKGALE
TV PRESENTER AND ACTRESS

Born in one of the biggest and popular Townships in Mzansi, Soweto. Selae Thobokgale is a vibrant personality that has been gracing our televisions screens for over a decade. Presenting for a kid’s show called YOTV on Sabc 1. Thobokgale presented cool show such as the Blue Couch-a lifestyle teen show.

This actress has an honour’s degree in brand management. She also own a media company called Seedi Media. Thobokgale hosted a teen gospel show after she left YOTV. “I started on One Gospel while doing my last year of YOTV. I did TGL which is a Christian based music show and then I did a talk show, Backchat”. After TGL, she made an appearance on Generations, where she played a needy and promiscuous brat. Thobokgale has grown from since as she starred on etv Mzansi: Love stories series. This Soweto born, shows she is more than a pretty face and she is climbing the ladder in Mzansi film making.
