Public Personality, Dineo Ranaka has recently released a music video directed by Werner Prinsloo of nineteen86.co.za. The song, titled Survive, sees the TV and Radio presenter and business woman, known for her role at YFM and eTV’s Club 808 delve into another area of creative arts, while heavily pregnant with her second child.

The song is catchy and the music video is well done, and indeed the topic addressed in the song is conscious and positive  BUT  in this instance I’m not particularly sure that singing is Miss Ranaka’s forte.

Overall, I suppose this was a good move for her brand, adding another element to her profile, however I do wish that opportunities to grow and produce musically, would be given to those who are inclined in this regard and not merely entered into by people who can afford it or have the right connections.
