This weekend Eat Out and DStv are collaborating for a two-day event held at Cape Town’s most popular market. The festivities start on Friday night with the announcement of the DStv Food Network Produce Awards winners, with Friday night’s food stands run by the competition finalists. Saturday’s market will be specially dedicated to the winners, and Saturday night brings SA’s top chefs serving a unique market-to-table interactive dinner.

This production is based on the movie starring Christina Aguilera and Cher and a whole new generation has fallen in love with the art of Burlesque for its intrigue, spectacle and glamour. With an uninhibited atmosphere, Burlesque venues in the 30’s were renowned for their bawdy comedy and female striptease, with the ladies encouraged to show off their often more than ample figures.
