A video of Deputy Minister of Higher Education Mduduzi Manana beating Mandisa Duma has surfaced. The alleged altercation took place at Cubana in Fourways on Sunday night.
Ironically, the Deputy Minister has come out strongly against gender based violence in the past. The minister spoke at the Rhodes dialogue on sexual, gender-based violence dialogue last year where he called for the government to act decisively against rape and assault incidences.
