In Mbombela, five lecturers and four students at a Further Education and Training college in Mpumalanga have been arrested for corruption, the Hawks said on Friday.
The students were allegedly found in possession of leaked exam papers at their residence on Wednesday.
The lecturers allegedly sold them the exams.
“The lecturers were arrested while on duty. Computers and some exam papers have been seized.”
Captain Ramaloko said the lecturers were not registered with the SA Council of Educators.
The group will appear in the Witbank Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
