The first instalment of the RHTC LetsPLayOutside workshops took part this past weekend at the Live SA offices in Braamfontein, and it proved to exceed expectations with a great turn out by high school and tertiary school students coming in in impressive numbers.
The workshops explore creative alternative career paths otherwise not presented in public schools with the aim of broadening the career horizon amongst urban youth. The first workshop focused on careers within the visual arts, on the panel sat two esteemed young Jo’burg based visual artists, Success Maake and Lazi Greispaces Mathebula with Kabelo Moremi chairing the discussions.
RHTC will be hosting five more LetsPLayOutside workshops on the last Saturday of each month, please follow RHTC for updates on topics to be discussed on the following workshops.
