We’re recruiting now for contributors to join our Cape Town and Johannesburg teams in January 2014!

All positions are unpaid internships, for work experience only (with some transport and expenses provided). Internships run on a three-month cycle, with Issue 10 beginning on 15 January 2014 and completing in mid-April. All internships require a 2 or 3 day/week commitment for Johannesburg and 3 or 4 day commitment for Cape Town. We also welcome remote contributors from across South Africa. Deadline for applications is 6 January 2014.

Live Magazine SA is a free glossy youth culture magazine which prints 52,000 copies and distributes directly into the hands of 18-25 year-olds via grassroots channels including street teams as well in Studio 88 stores across the country. Our estimated readership is 260,000 nationally and this year we have reached over 330,000 people through our digital channels including website, YouTube channel and social media communities. Some of our former contributors have gone on to work for eTV, British Council. BBDO, SABC2 and Zalebs.
