Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard are finally divorced after nearly a year since filing their separation.

The 32-year-old actress of New Girl fame and 36-year-old Death Cab for Cutie frontman got married in September 2009. They separated 2 years later saying that the cause of their divorce was due to “irreconcilable differences”.

Zooey has moved on and found herself a new guy by the name of Hollywood screenwriter Jamie Linden, who wrote scripts for the films 10 Years, Dear John and We Are Marshall. The two have been dating since June this year.
