“June 16 Youth Development Foundation is an independent Non-profitable organisation. Its main focus is on youth economics, social and educational development projects. Based on the history and heritage of 1976 and related youth struggles. June 16 Youth Development Foundation was established “by the youth, for the youth and with the youth and the some of the youth leadership of 1976”. This is all with belief and understanding that issues of youth development are every day issues and they cannot be resolved without the youth be the lead to this process. June 16 was/is formed to preserve the values, virtues and victories of youth leadership and the involvement in the liberation.

As the youth we need to make it our responsibility to protect the image of our young leaders. We need to establish a sense of understanding that through the liberation for justice and freedom the taught was: “our youth of tomorrow, and there freedom” we should not forget this. Our youth is faced with so many issues on a day-to-day bases and June 16 Youth Development Foundation is the perfect platform to let your voice be heard and to represent our youth of today.
