Pupils attending Pretoria High School for Girls have accused the school of racism and discriminatory practices that vary from forcing them to abandon the natural aesthetics of their hair to telling them to not speak African languages at the school.
We spoke to young people in Joburg and Cape Town on their experiences in school to highlight just how prevalent these instances are in schools.
