“This is one of thee biggest events I have ever been to. Rubbing shoulders with the likes of Jimmy Nevis, Toya Delazy and Hectic nine9 crew was amazing.” said trendspotter Warda Trout when Live bumped into her at The Jameson Party which was held at Shimmy Beach Club. The location was a  the new premier ocean-front dining and luxurious lifestyle destination; on the south arm of the harbour in Cape Town’s prestigious V&A Waterfront.

The event was a spectacular success with over 900 people in attendance including the likes of blogger and Elle style reporter Trevor Stuurman, the gorgeous MTV VJ finalist Naledi Radebe and comedian and actor Siv Ngesi who was clearly distracted by the beauty of the ladies in Cape Town, and very appreciative too. “I better not lose composure, the beauty that is here…” he cunningly added.

The fashion was on point, black and gold ensembles with matching accesories being the king of style; snapbacks and the ladies in stilettos who proved to themselves and the man-made beach outside the club’s lounge that the relationship between a lady and her shoe is inseparable. Denim shorts, whites  and printed shirts were also a trend hit, with the some males looking suave in their tailored and clean cut suits.

The event was definitely a night to remember.
