Thabang: What introduced you to dance?

ShamRock: I’ver always had an over-the-top interest in creativity but was never really exposed to dance. In 2007 I auditioned for ”temple of hip hop production”, which ultimately changed my life.

Thabang: From this competition many young people will be looking at you as a role model , what message do you have for those who want to follow in your foot steps?

ShamRock: Before finding anything else, find  yourself. Be passionate about what you do and do not do things half measured.

Thabang: If you don’t win this competition, what will you take from the expereince?

ShamRock: This competition has taught me not to be contained by what the world defines me as, but to be uncontainable and undefinable. Winning is sometimes the act of not giving up.

Thabang: What do you do or say to motivate yourself in the morning when you wake up?

ShamRock: There’s this song I listen to, “make me better”, and it keeps me going.
