“My wardrobe is quite international,” explains the 23-year-old Portuguese beauty, Melissa Nunes. You wouldn’t expect anything less from a girl who visited 16 countries (six in which she has resided), and speaks four languages.

Melissa is a journalism graduate and blogger who appreciates the finer things in life. “I love the smell of freshly cut grass. I eat ice cream in winter, I drink tea in summer and I always finish my popcorn before the movie starts,” she states.

She is inspired by many things including pop culture, Kourtney Kardashian, and Italy. “I think Italy is the country where people have the best sense of style, not only women but also men. People dress up just to take out their garbage. I also think that Italy is where all the best designers were born.”

She has perfectly curly hair (it’s like a thousand fairies played with it while she was sleeping) and a petite frame which should make getting dressed easy. Melissa describes her style as “comfortable yet elegant”. “I like to choose my clothing carefully and according to my body shape and facial features. I love patterns and pastels in spring and summer, and black and gold during autumn and winter.”

For Melissa, choosing her daily outfits is a breeze. “I’m not one of those people who carefully choose their outfit for the next day unless I have a big event or a special date. Usually I just wake up and, within five minutes, I match an outfit according to what I’ll be doing that day and who I’ll need to make a good impression on.”

One of her favourite fashion memories was inspired by a certain British pop girl group from the 90s.”When I was in primary school, my friends and I used to pretend we were the Spice Girls. We used to ‘perform’ live in front of everyone at school. I always chose to be Victoria Beckham, because I was the fashionista of our group.”
