2011 Census results was revealed today by our president Jacob Zuma, Statistician- General Pali Lehohla and Planning Minister Trevor Noah. Although only certain information was shared by the Census members, the results shows shocking news. @ewnreporter took to twitter, “#Census2011 But… the discrepancy between what whites and blacks earn is pretty scary. White male: R365,134p/a, Black male: R60,613.” The Census was created for the purpose of concluding how many citizens there are and what are the people’s needs are, and government should be providing and living up to standard. According to Eye Witness News, “President Jacob Zuma said that data gathered during the 2011 census is vital to enabling government to deliver on it’s development agend”…” The president said the data will allow government to improvement to improve service delivery.” In other results of the 2011 Census, Gauteng appears to be the largest growing population to 12,2 million! South Africa’s population currently lies at 51,8 million.
