The Kiffness is the latest sensation on the electronic music scene. This crazy two-man-pack of dynamic youngsters consist of Dave Scott and Mvelo Shandu. The Kiffness have a unique sound of instruments in there possession with Dave on trumpet, keys, Dj and vocals and Mvelo on bass, percussion and vocals, which kinda makes them “kiff”. The Kiffness is questioned to be the latest competition for the hit band Goldfish or if they’re just following in their footsteps (can we be expecting a musical Coup de Etat?).

We were recently afford the opportunity to appear on the Hectic Nine-9 show where we bumped into the Kiffness. Their lyrics were questionable but there beats were, without a doubt, infectious and engrossing. This duo is going to be a definite rival within the electronic music scene in South Africa so keep your eyes open (and your mind) and let them make you dance. Their secret is that they are not just musicians but performers and this makes them crowed pleasers. There is a lot of talk around them and the buzz is only going to get louder so pay attention kidz!
