This is the season to be jolly!  The festive season has an effect on everyone.  Suddenly malls become overpopulated.  People are constantly partying with friends or spending quality time with their family members.  So before you step out of the house to go to that dinner date, or cocktail party, here are a few guidelines you can adhere to so that you look your absolute best.  At the end of the day, when it comes to fashion you just have to have your own flavor and style.  A lot of things could go wrong, BUT that doesn’t mean you can’t get a certain look just right!

STUNNING SANDAL HEELS   

Do…rock these shoes with a stunning dress or cropped pants and a vest with a blazer. We’ve seen celebrities such as Rihanna wear these shoes. The winning formula to rocking these types of heels is to know how to put together a killah outfit that will make these shoes stand out.

Don’t…wear these shoes if you cannot stand wearing heels for a long time. Also remember to choose the correct size; this is crucial because if you are wearing heels that are too big or small you will end up looking like you are uncomfortable. Remember to not wear these shoes if your toenails are not on point, these type of heels draw attention to the feet so make sure you amp yourself with a quick pedicure.

THE FAMOUS BLACK DRESS

Do…get yourself a beautiful black dress; it will do wonders for your look! Plus all you need is amazing accessories and a pair of heels or even pumps then you are good to go. It doesn’t matter which event you are going to, a black dress will do.

Don’t…walk around with a dress that does not fit you properly, ladies this is a big no no! Make sure you know your body shape and size and dress accordingly to accentuate your beautiful shape. If you have curves make sure the dress is not too short. If you have a tomboy shape body, rather go for a tight dress that will create a waistline shape. You want to look comfortable and amazing at the same time.

GLAMOUR NAILS  

Do…rock gorgeous nails; this is the ultimate key to looking stunning. When your nails look good you actually feel like you can take over the world*giggles* it’s true though! You have immense confidence when your hands look great. Nail art is trending so make sure you find a look that you are happy with and paint away, experiment with different symbols and colours on your nails.

Don’t…walk around with chipped nails, not only does it look bad but it sends a message across that you couldn’t really be bothered about what your hands look like.  If you are not a big fan of going to the nail parlor you can always give yourself a manicure at home and still feel good.
