Dickies has revamped its classic workwear range with modern tailoring to create fashionable functionality for the stylish working man with a limited edition collection called Dickies Construct. The masculine line is designed for men who seek uncomplicated, durable wardrobe staples that complement an urban lifestyle.

It’s important to make the distinction between the Dickies we are all familiar with and the new Dickies Construct range. Dickies has typically been known for its functionality more than its fashionability, but now the brand has integrated both with contemporary silhouettes more suited to the cool kids on the streets of Braamfontein. Dickies Construct will be exclusively available at Dip Street in Johannesburg and A Store in Cape Town from the 21st April.

I had the opportunity to view some of the Dickies Construct range and although the line is for men, I felt as though I could easily work any of the items into my style. I loved the quilted vests and cutter jackets and could see myself strutting down the street rocking some androgynous swag in that fabulous parka. So for the guys who are lucky enough to get items from the limited edition range, be sure your significant other does not end up “borrowing” it from you.
