After a chilly day yesterday, the #VIPYouthFest comes to its final day after a great first two days. The good news is that it’s much warmer today (as if the cold would have stopped us).
We kick off again today at 73 Juta Street in Braamfontein on the 4th floor with the #PolicyHackZA Twitter feed which will feature a live performance by rapper Sam Turpin.
Our debate today will be on beating youth unemployment using entrepreneurship will include the panelists Frypan Mfula of RHTC, Zama ka Ndlovu, Tebello “ShowTibzLove” Motsoane of ShowLove, Lerato Khene of iKamva Youth Representative and Thabiso Mohare of WordnSound. So tune in to see what we can commoditise and who really has ownership of ideas.
The debate will be followed by a live poetry performance by Afurakan before we find out where to from here for the VIP Campaign – be sure to check that out.
Refreshments and free WiFi (ahh!) will be available, all day!
Fiesta Black will close the festival with a live performance of her song which is a collaboration between her and Corruption Watch.
The people at Corruption Watch are still here conducting their bribe detector tests along with the Hands Are Clean selfie booth. Also, the photo gallery is still up so be sure to watch and appreciate that!
See you all there, tweet your friends to come to the #VIPYouthFest at @LiveMagSA.
