On the 16th of June this year Yfm will collaborate with MTN at Newtown’s Park Station to showcase some of the best and most appealing creatives in South Africa at its LYFE event. Celebrated artists and fashionistas will be at the event and A-list musicians like Sho Madjozi, Shane Eagle and Kwesta will be featured as part of the entertainment playlist.
As a radio station that has always been at the forefront of urban youth culture, it’s important for Yfm to celebrate the youth and to keep inspiring them. The Youth Day event will also see Yfm launching it’s #BeYou message, a campaign that seeks to encourage the youth to define and believe in themselves.
Last week Saturday, on the 9th of June, Yfm hosted a LYFE Instawalk on Braamfontein’s Juta street to promote the event. The streets were filled with trendy young urbanites walking through the streets of Braamfontein in their most insta-ready outfits.

While the day certainly involved it’s fair share of fun and entertainment, we have a feeling that the LYFE event on June 16 might just up the ante and be even more entertaining!
