
Pretty face with an amazing talent. Khanya Mkhangisa is currently the ambassador of Iman Africa cosmetics. Khanya Mkhangisa entered the limelight after she won the YOTV presenter search at the age of 15. This bubbly personality oozes an aura of authenticity. She graduated from AFDA with a BA Degree in motion picture and television.

Mkhangisa has evolved in the industry from child star into a prominent actress, starring in the drama series the lab, Mthunzini.com alongside veteran actress KB, as well, in uGugu no Andile to name a few. Last year she played the starring role of Nonhle Minola in the SABC1 mini-series Forced Love which – like uGugu no Andile – was part of the channel’s “Shakespeare in Mzansi” strand.

This year Mkhangisa had a starring role in the second season of the SABC1 drama series Intersexions, appearing in five episodes – more than any other actor. She also has a starring role as Mpilo Cele, Jazzman’s daughter who has just enjoyed a gap year with her father’s blessing only to find she has to grow up and be the next “it” girl, in the Mzansi Magic soap opera Zabalaza. With all of this Mkhangisa loves social media. “I think social media is a great medium for instant news updates and for me to interact with people who watch and support my craft”.
