Limpopo was the destination for our recent dialogue between young people and their local government representatives. The discussion centered around youth opportunities in Giyani, and saw the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) and the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform answer crucial questions from the audience.
The young people in attendance raised concerns on how difficult it was to access the NYDA, access applications for bursaries and grants for their small business ideas, and spoke about how much more government could be doing for young people in rural areas outside of Polokwane.
