Jacob Zuma attended the Stop Rape Campaign held at Glendale Secondary School in Mitchells Plain where he addressed the rape issues which have had an overwhelming response lately. In his delivery speech he stated, ”No woman or child should be beaten, raped, stabbed, shot or attacked in any manner anywhere in our country, whether by known or unknown attackers”. He also touched on the fact that men and boys were also the victims of this horrendous occurrence. This speech has brought about a more vivid awareness and also showing the involvement of not just the ANC party but the DA as well. This campaign is for everyone and will not be taken lightly. Jacob Zuma stated that the police and courts are now fully empowered and have to follow the acts implicated within the laws of South Africa.
